cessation of the regional sub-registry

The regional sub-registry maintained at a partner institution since the late 1990s will cease independent operation at the end of the calendar year. Its holdings will be folded into the main registry under their existing identifiers, with a concordance entry for each.

This change is administrative; no specimen will be moved or re-classified as a result.
