deprecation of the printed annual report

The printed annual report, distributed to subscribing institutions since 1991, will not be issued in printed form from this year onward. Subscribers will receive the report in plain-text form, with figures supplied on request.
The decision reflects the long-running decline in subscriber preference for the printed format and the corresponding rise in printing costs. The registrar regrets the change.
