anomaly classification scheme

The standing registrar has approved the formalisation of the anomaly classification scheme drafted by the methodology subcommittee.

Five classes are defined, ranging from class I (a single, locally observable irregularity that does not yield to standard analysis) to class V (a class reserved for records whose anomaly cannot be characterised without exceeding the registry's mandate).

The scheme is described in full in the methodology document. No record is reclassified by the present bulletin.
