TEM imaging of an extracted lamella reveals a regular array of point defects with apparent long-range correlation, on a length scale of approximately 12 nm. Mechanical perturbation by uniaxial compression to 2 GPa does not disrupt the alignment. The defect lattice re-establishes within ~6 hours of perturbation as confirmed by repeat TEM. Mechanism not understood. The 612 cm⁻¹ Raman feature is the same wavenumber as the unattributed band reported in AM-2019-04471-A.
